THEMES
#GHPC24 aims to bring together stakeholders to discuss equitable solutions for pressing health needs due to the interface between communities, climate, and how collaboration will improve health, enable quality programs, and advance coherent policies for Primary Health Care and beyond. #GHPC24 will focus on:
COMMUNITIES and their health. We will examine how community health workers, community engagement, community-based surveillance, and community approaches, can promote health, provide health services, prevent disease, and prepare for future outbreaks and health emergencies.
CLIMATE and our environment, and how agriculture, animal health, food security and climate change affect our future health and well-being.
COLLABORATION between communities, practitioners, governments, private sectors, and multi-stakeholders from different technical areas and how we can share best practices and work better together for improved health outcomes, in the development and humanitarian contexts.
CORE Group Conference Refund Policy
CORE Group strongly recommends that attendees explore trip insurance when booking flights, hotels, etc. Please ensure that such insurance covers issues such as COVID-19 should that be of concern.
Refund policy for cancellations after payment has been made for conference registration to either the USA or International events:
30-45 Days Prior* to Conference: 50% Refund
Less Than 30 Days Prior* to Conference: No Refund can be Provided
*The term “Prior to Conference” is defined as prior to the Monday of the week the conference begins. For GHPC 2024, that date is October 28, 2024.
CORE Group shall not be held liable for failure of performing its reasonably expected conference obligations if such failure or delay is the result of an ‘act of God’, such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations. CORE Group shall not be held liable in the event the attendee/registrant is unable to attend and/or participate in the GHPC 24 conference as a result of illness (COVID-19 or otherwise), ‘an act of God’, such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations.
CORE Group cannot make exceptions to this refund policy except in cases of family bereavement. Speakers are encouraged to substitute a colleague if they are no longer able to attend.
