Concurrent Breakout Sessions
Concurrent sessions are typically 60 – 90 minute sessions offering an opportunity to bring together diverse professionals, experiences, and perspectives; examine new research, evidence, strategies, and practices; and engage with peers on emerging issues or opportunities. Approved submissions will ensure a diversity of topics that can be addressed in an interactive and participatory format. Concurrent session presenters will collectively enhance participants’ Global Health Practitioner Conference experience. Submissions may be grouped on a common theme if demand for concurrent presentation is high.
Technical roundtables
Roundtables are shorter-form presentations, part of a plenary session that features approximately 15 tables hosted by different organizations and projects. Participants will rotate three times – 25 minutes each time – to different tables during the session.
Poster Presentations
Posters are visual presentations focused on a particular theme that will be presented in person during the conference. CORE Group will accept evidence-based posters with an academic or professional focus, research information, peer-reviewed work, etc.
Workshops
Workshops will take place on October 28 and will be allocated 2 ½ to 3 hours. Workshops design should be interactive and ‘hands-on’ with opportunities for participants and facilitators to work in smaller break-out groups. Workshop objectives should help participants strengthen skills, apply learnings in case studies, scenarios or gamification with the objective of taking away tools and techniques to apply in their contexts and settings.
